Internationally acclaimed Michelin star dim sum house Tim Ho Wan just held its official grand opening, with the now global brand’s founders Chef Mak Kwai and Chef Leung Fai Keung officiating the ceremony with colour and spectacle, including traditional lion dancing, drums and ceremonies to bless the success of the restaurant. Guests were treated to a special cooking demonstration from the two chefs, sharing some of their secrets to the dim sum juggernaut’s famous pork barbecued buns, before enjoying a selection of Tim Ho Wan’s menu of dumplings and spring rolls. Stellar has had the good fortune to introduce Australian dumpling lovers to Tim Ho Wan, the world’s most famous dim sum and we’ve proud to have delivered some amazing coverage for them.
