The inaugural Disaronno Mixing Star People’s Choice Awards was held last Wednesday at The Loft Sydney by Australia’s very own screen starlet Gracie Otto. The event featured Disaronno cocktails creations by some of Australia’s top mixologists, channelled inspiration from their favourite film or film scene into their specially made tipples. Guests sampled three delicious cocktails including Quynh Nguyen’s Scarlett Rose, James Connolly’s Death Proof Highball and Jordan Blackman’s The Disaronno Candy Bar Combo.
With a Disaronno cocktail in one hand and delicious hors d’oeuvres in the other, guests mingled and enjoyed the movie-themed tunes before the three cocktails were put to a public vote to crown the Disaronno Mixing Star People’s Choice Award.
Congratulations to Quynh Nguyen from The Fish Shop for winning the first ever Australian Mixing Star People’s Choice Award. Quynh Nguyen’s winning Disaronno creation, Scarlett Rose, was inspired by the film Lost in Translation.
And that’s a wrap!
